POST 2

Hi classmates, today i will talk about the creepiest movie i have ever watched.
This movie is the shining. It is a film directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick on 1980, based in the Stephen King's novel on 1977, with the same name.

I saw this film because a had a list with classic films that i had to see if or if, and after to saw some movies from this list, came the time to enjoy this master piece of horror.

This story begins with the Torrance family traveling to the Overloock Hotel, place where they will live for some time, to care the Hotel in the winter period.

Is in this place where this family start to experiment with strange situations, like a ghostly apparitions and other things. In addition to this problem, Jack, the father of this family, begins to lose her mind, to the point to made totally crazy and try to kill his family.

This film is one of my favourites, i really like this, and this is a movie that i can see over and over without bored, in fact, every time that i see i find new elements to analyse. This is the particularity of Stanley Kubrick films. In fact, exist theories that say that the moon landing was made by Kubrick, and in this movie Kubrick leave some subliminal clues that support this theory.

Definitely i recomend this piece of film. Is a movie cant not leave to see. (clearly almost all saw this, but i don't lose anything recommending this film)

  1. Good Pablo, The Shining is a classic!

First of all, Pablo, thank you for your blog. Don´t forget, though, the layout has to be in English, so change the language in the settings and second, you have to include your classmates´ links in your blog so there can be comments from either parts, OK? That´s part of the exercise and will be taken into consideration next time.

There are some problems with structure, but all in all, your vocabulary is very good. Congrats!

Now, regarding some expressions you used, say ... classic films I had to see "no matter what"

Also after the word "after" you can use a verb in -ing. So "After seeing..."

Use Subject + Verb: "IT is in this place where the family STARTS (3RD PERSON "FAMILY") ..."

Also, "The FATHER LOSES HIS MIND to the point he BECOMES TOTALLY CRAZY AND TRIES (3RD person becuase of "He") to kill his family"

Finally, say, "It´s a movie you can´t miss!"

    2 pts.
